here's a little bit about us

The Lovebird Bridal Boutique is a passionately curated collection of wedding gowns set in the beautiful Yorkshire spa town of Ilkley, just around the corner from the Cow & Calf Rocks and the famous Betty’s tea rooms making it a great opportunity for a complete day out.  Close to Leeds, Harrogate, York and Manchester and just up the road from the train station we couldn't be easier to get to.

For us it’s pretty simple, choosing ‘the dress’ is a huge event and we really want to make it a memorable one.  It's important to us our bride, her family and her friends spend the experience feeling relaxed and excited about their choice not overwhelmed, rushed and pushed.  Every appointment gets exclusive use of the boutique so we can dedicate all our time and attention to you and help you make the right choice.

The design of the boutique takes its inspiration from Scandinavian designs with a bright, spacious and warm interior putting our brides and their party at ease in an informal, laid-back yet intimate atmosphere in which to fall for your ideal dress.  We love it!

We truly are a boutique in every sense of the word and we know our brides.  They are looking for something contemporary but with a reflection of their own style, they don’t want rail after rail of similar dresses so we carefully hand pick only the best designers from around the world, designers each with their own style who offer the highest quality, the best fabrics and something a little bit different.

The boutique brings together an exquisite collection of gowns from Jesus Peiro, Charlie Brear and Odylyne The Ceremony complemented by shoes from Charlotte Mills and Freya Rose, bridesmaid dresses from Ghost and just to make the experience entirely unique our Laura Rhodes bridal accessory collection is designed and handmade right here in the boutique by our owner Laura.
